About Dr. Biesboer

This short note is for my campaign for Minnetonka City Council, at large-seat B. I am a hard scientist. I am data driven in decision making. I use critical thinking skills in decision making, that is, rationality, logic, honesty, integrity, careful analysis, and transparency.I was a full professor at the University of Minnesota for 37 years. I am an academic. I have had many leadership positions as a research/teaching professor. I have much experience in countries around the world. I have taught a short course in critical thinking for about 10 years.

l have had many administrative leadership positions over the years at the U of M. I have won many teaching and research awards (one of my best was a Fulbright Scholarship to Brazil). I have won research awards to study and train people in Brazil, Australia, Russia, Thailand, Bolivia, and Kenya.

I have done research in Minnesota also. One of most enjoyable areas was working with wild rice. I have many peer-reviewed scientific publications.
